A family between Tuscany and the Aosta Valley since 1350.<\/h2>\n

According to tradition, the family came from Florence to escape the conflict between the Guelphs and Ghibellines. By the end of the 13th century, they began acquiring significant properties\u2014houses, farmland, and vineyards\u2014first in the Valturnanche area, and later throughout much of the Aosta Valley. Over the centuries, they held prestigious administrative, political, and religious positions, and in 1556, Duke Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy granted the Passerin family letters patent, officially recognizing their noble status, which had already been established for at least two centuries. The family\u2019s estates at that time were diverse and included those in Entr\u00e8ves and Courmayeur, Brissogne, Escalier in Canavese, and Fornet in the Valgrisanche. Today, only the Entr\u00e8ves estate remains in the family, and it belongs to Francesco. Francesco, like other members of the Passerin d\u2019Entr\u00e8ves family before him, moved to Tuscany after getting married.
