Villa Dianella becomes even more welcoming with 6 new suites in the stables, joining the 6 already in the Medici villa.
At last, the hamlet of Dianella comes back to life in its entirety. Restoration began in the late 1990s with the Medici Villa and its chapel, then moved on to the granaries, the farmhouses for the estate staff, the cellar, and finally the pool and the stables.
Every space has been carefully restored, respecting the original style.
Today the hamlet is home to the farm buildings with the cellars, the manor house, the chapel where Renato Fucini is buried, the pool and the wine resort with 12 suites named after the Dianella wines. The rooms — each one different — are spacious, with magnificent views over the Italian garden or the estate’s vineyards. Each is equipped with every comfort and a chilled mini-bar stocked with a selection of Dianella wines, so you can enjoy a good glass at any time of day, as befits a wine resort. The courtesy set is made with organic olive-oil and grape-must based products.
In keeping with our traditional care and dedication to historical preservation, the new rooms have been built using reclaimed materials — bricks, terracotta, wood, jute sacking and Florentine straw weave for armchairs and beds. Tuscan tradition and the original atmosphere of the stables combine with every modern comfort to guarantee a stay that is unique, relaxing and comfortable.
Beyond the elegance of the new rooms, our guests will have the chance to experience at close hand what everyday life is like in a Medici villa. You can stroll through our gardens, enjoy dinner at our restaurant, take part in wine tastings, or simply relax and enjoy the view.
