New this September at Villa Dianella: the historic cellar now opens its doors in the evening too, with a guided tour starting at 6:30 pm.
It’s a different way to experience the estate, designed both for resort guests and for visitors from outside. For those on holiday, it’s the perfect way to round off the day: after relaxing by the pool or exploring nearby art cities, a cellar visit makes for a pleasant, unhurried finish. For those who live and work near Villa Dianella, these late-summer evenings are the chance to end the working day with something different, among the cellar’s historic vaults and excellent wines, well-known labels and hidden gems alike.
What the Visit Includes
The guided tour begins in the vineyards, passes through Leonardo’s Vineyard, and then winds through the historic spaces of the Villa Dianella cellar, starting with the concrete vats and the ageing areas, with the story of the estate and its winemaking methods along the way.
Aperitivo or Dinner — Your Choice
At the end of the tour, there are two different ways to taste the estate’s wines and close out the evening: an aperitivo with a tasting of the estate’s wines.
Or dinner at the Bistrot delle Scuderie, perhaps at a terrace table overlooking the vineyards, choosing the three- or four-course tasting menu from our carte, paired with our wines.
