Autumn and winter mark a quiet time in the countryside, in keeping with the natural cycle of the seasons. It’s the period devoted to caring for the wine in the cellar, the oil, and pruning the vines. The land is worked and fertilised to prepare for the spring renewal.
The farm, the fields, the vegetable garden and the gardens of Villa Dianella shed their summer green for warm autumn tones, then winter’s grey shades. As the villa’s tourist buzz winds down, on 4 November the convivial side of the Magazzino Dianella reopens, becoming — through the winter — a place for experiences, good food and wine, just as the villa is in summer.
The Magazzino Dianella is the farm shop, open all year round for wine and farm produce, and in winter it also serves as a lunch spot.
The Magazzino’s offering is simple and quick: from this year, gourmet focaccias, boards of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, and a small selection of seasonal dishes prepared by our chef, with a menu that changes daily and can also be enjoyed on-site.
Brand new:
- a corner dedicated to seasonal juices and veloutés, designed for a wellness-conscious audience, with an eye to women’s needs;
- special events and activities, such as tastings, cooking classes, book presentations and exclusive previews, held every Saturday.
